Editor's note: This is the second in a series following ALS Class 10-Alpha from inprocessing all the way to graduation. It will highlight the month-long class and explain what an Airman experiences during this time. The ALS series will highlight open rank inspections, community service events, classroom experiences and reveille.

Florida sun breaks on the faces of Airmen Leadership School students as Staff Sgt. Raul Torres completes his open ranks inspection Sept. 29 here. ALS Class 10-Alpha began their journey nearly two weeks ago. There are three weeks of instruction left that will cover roles and responsibilities of non-commissioned officers, dress and appearance, drill and community service. (Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
