EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Plenty of stripes and formal blues were on display Jan. 20 at the annual Chief Recognition Ceremony here.

The ceremony, held at the Bayview Club, was a way to recognize the base’s newest chief master sergeants and selects and those who helped get them to the highest Air Force enlisted rank.

The Airmen honored were:

Charles Buterbaugh, 96th Communications Squadron
Mark Duarte, 359th Training Squadron
Renaissance Gildea, 96th Civil Engineer Squadron
James Gilmore, 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron
Jose Nevarez, 96th Medical Support Squadron
Scott Super, 96th Surgical Operations Squadron
