Nurses monument unveiled at Armament Museum

Members of the community remove the purple cloak during the Nurses Monument unveiling ceremony Sept. 7 at the Air Force Armament Museum. The tribute is a “thank you” to military and civilian nurses. The monument became a reality through the efforts of William Everett, PHC 811, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the AFAM, the Northwest Florida State College nursing program, the Northwest Florida Daily News along with many local businesses and individuals.
