A rare event: Four sea turtle species nest on Eglin’s beach

A loggerhead sea turtle nest sits near the shoreline June 15 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Jackson Guard sea turtle patrol volunteers screen the nest and place stakes around the perimeter with a “Sea Turtle” sign.
