Airmen from the 96th Medical Group carry a simulated casualty on a litter toward an Army UH-60 helicopter during a training session March 1 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The goal of the training was to provide Eglin’s medics with readiness skills involving realistic combat scenarios and live aircraft. The medics performed casualty care, litter carry, casualty reporting and loading and unloading patients from a combat ambulance and helicopter. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
