Team Eglin kicks off the Combined Federal Campaign
One of two sanctioned charitable drives in the Air Force, the CFC allows Team Eglin to channel the willingness of its people to support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. An excellent team of base project officers, unit project officers, coordinators and key workers are available to support you throughout the campaign that makes the whole process possible. This year's goal is to raise $750,000.

Team Eglin Safety hosts its 5th Annual Motorcycle Safety Rally April 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 1st Special Operations Maintenance Squadron Hanger, Bldg. 244 adjacent to the Eglin Climatic Laboratory on Eglin Blvd. The event will consists of: Blessing of the bikes, best bike competition, guest speakers, Grant's gauntlet ride, group rides, motorcycle display/demo’s, aircraft static display and door prizes. This free event is open to All military, retired military, DoD civilians and DoD contractors in the local area and region to include Tyndall AFB and Pensacola NAS. For more information, call Tech. Bronze Star. Illustrated by Virginia Reyes of the Air Force News Agency. This image is 4x8 inches @ 200 ppi. Bronze Star Medal was authorized by Executive Order 9419 dated Feb. 4, 1944, retroactive to Dec. 7, 1941. and later amended on Aug. 24, 1962, to expand the authorization to include those serving with friendly forces. It is awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the military of the United States after Dec. 6, 1941, distinguished himself or herself by heroic or meritorious achievement or service, not involving participation in aerial flight, while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States; while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force; or while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party.
