Eglin to celebrate AF's 64th with BBQ Team Eglin Public Affairs 9/13/2011 - EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Team Eglin is invited to the base's Air Force birthday celebration Sept. 16 at the Bayview Club at 3 p.m. Maj Gen Merchant, the installation's senior Airman, will assist Eglin's junior Airman in cutting an Air Force birthday cake. Afterward, is a First Friday Air Force Birthday barbecue at 4 p.m. Menu includes barbecue chicken, potato salad and baked beans. Event is free to Eglin club members including immediate family and $7.50 for all others.
