Senior Airman... tear down that wall.
Senior Airman Isaac Stuckey, 96th Security Forces Squadron, waits to begin the demolition of Dorm 17, the last of the old dorms along Eglin Boulevard, July 6. Airman Stuckey spent eight months in the “old” dorms before deploying. He also lived in the new quad-style dorms as well and said they were “much better.” According to 96th Civil Engineer Group, the dorm will be completely leveled and cleaned up in eight weeks. All of the concrete within the structure will be recycled. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)

Ranger for a day
(Left) Army Capt. Adam Marsh, 6th Ranger Training Battalion public affairs officer, answers questions regarding the origin of the Ranger Training Battalion during the quarterly tour for Team Eglin Honorary Commanders June 29. The Honorary Commanders got the chance to visit the 6th Ranger Training Battalion at Fort Rudder as part of the program's quarterly tour. The program was created to establish and maintain positive relations with civilian counterparts as well as civic and business leaders. It also allows the general public to experience the mission by spending time with their military counterpart to observe their duties and on-base operations. The experience the honorary commanders come away with was an inside-look at the role Eglin plays in supporting the Air Force mission and national defense. (U.S. Air Force photo/Errica Bennett.)
