Happy Holidays

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tech. Sgt. David Ulbrick (left), Staff Sgts. Jody Lucas, Jerry Fruth and Joshua Hallmark (not pictured), 796th Civil Engineer Squadron Airmen, designed and built this holiday ferris wheel, earning first place in the 2007 Team Eglin Organization Holiday Greeting Card Competition. Members from the 96th Ground Combat Training Squadron earned second place, third place went to the 1st Special Operations Maintenance Squadron and the 96th Communications Squadron earned an Honorable Mention. Cookies for a Cause

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Master Sgt. Joel Acang, 33rd Fighter Wing Cookie Caper coordinator, keeps track of how many cookies are bagged Dec. 17 during the Cookie Caper 2007 event here. Fuel spill exercise

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tech. Sgt. Jesse Terry, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels and environmental flight, helps Tech. Sgt. Shawn Taylor, 719th Maintenance Squadron unit environmental coordinator, get into a life jacket. They also put on air tanks as part of the decotamination team. The Air Force and Coast Guard deployed more than 6,500 feet of boom during a week-long training exercise familiarizing them with the processes and equipment needed to clean up fuel spilled into the waters bordering Eglin's southern edge. Oil spill exercise

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tech. Sgt. Ron Evensons, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron NCOIC bulk fuel storage, helps U.S. Coast Guard Marine Science Technician 3rd Class Devin Horoszewski, Delaware Bay, Pa., pull in the section of boom deployed everytime a barge is transfering fuel to Eglin's bulk storage tanks Dec. 14.
