EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Boom is deployed into Weekly Bayou Dec. 14 during a fuel spill exercise at the bulk fuel storage tanks on Eglin. The Air Force and Coast Guard deployed more than 6,500 feet of boom during a week-long training exercise familiarizing them with the processes and equipment needed to clean up fuel spilled into the waters bordering Eglin?s southern edge. General recognizes Eglin Airman
Maj. Gen. David Edgington presents the Baghdad Airman of
the Month award to Senior Airman Jacob Gonzales from the 96th Communications Squadron. The general is the Director of Air Component Coordination Element, Multi-National Force-Iraq, Baghdad, Iraq. He was the Vice Commander of the Air Armament Center from March 2004 until June 2005.

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- John Gallucci and Senior Master Sgt. Scott Kaster, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron's Fuels Flight, prepare for their last run to refuel an aircraft here. They made their first run together 23 years ago at Griffiss AFB, N. Y., when Sergeant Kastner was an Airman basic.
