EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Randy Wilhide, Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., takes batting practice during an afternoon practice session for the All-Air Force Softball team preparing for the Armed Forces Softball Tournament Sept. 12 through 14 here. The Air Force has won three consecutive championships against the U.S Army, U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps and four of the last five. Peru earthquake relief
PISCO, Peru -- Air Force Master Sgt. Deborah Davis, task force NCOIC for the humanitarian mission here, explains a prescription to a patient at the medical site established by task force members. At the site, medical personnel provide basic medical care and medicines to those suffering following the 8.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated the region Aug. 15.
