Kidney donation

Airman 1st Class Chris Simmons, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and his mother Felita underwent kidney transplant surgery May 16. Airman Simmons donated his left kidney to his mother who had kidney disease and had been on dialysis for seven years. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
