EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- A firefighter with the 96th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department uses a thermal imaging camera to see through the smoke to see where the hot spots are in a fire and to keep track of the crew June 20. The camera helps firefighters see where they are going in situations where smoke creates zero visibility conditions. Apprehended suspect

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE. Fla. -- Airman Brad McFall and Airman 1st Class Luis Aponte, 96th Security Forces Squadron, "apprehend" Officer Pepe Esquivel, playing the roll of the suspect, during a gate running exercise May 16. Within seconds of the suspect running the main gate, Eglin's security forces patrolmen responded and stopped the suspect.
