Mileage, damage, fluids and normal wear and tear are examined to ensure serviceability for the next mission. The Airmen of vehicle operations are responsible for driving, upkeep, dispatching and delivery of more than 130 vehicles on base. CSAF visits Khobar Towers Memorial
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz and Col. Andrew Toth, 33rd Fighter Wing commander, visit the Khobar Towers Memorial Wall two days prior to the 15th anniversary of the tragedy during a tour of the 33rd FW June 23, 2011, at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Nineteen Airmen—12 of whom were members of the 33rd FW—lost their lives in the bombing June 25, 1996.
