Spa Day
(Left to right) Tech. Sgt. Brooke Matthews, 96th Force Support Squadron, gives Maureeca Wells a manicure as part of the Hearts Apart Spa Day Sept. 19. Mrs. Wells' spouse is Tech. Sgt. James Wells, 9th Special Operations Squadron, who is deployed to Iraq. The 'spa day' had professional massages, facial massages and cosmetics. Volunteers manicured nails and provided hand massages. Several local spas donated gift certificates as well. Dancing Star
Capt. John J. Scheuren and his partner, Georgia Ambarian, perform a dramatic overhead lift in the U.S. National Open and Pro/Am Championships Sept. 12 in Orlando, Fla. Captain Scheuren, a two-time dance champion, reclaimed his title in the cabaret category, after taking second place last year. Formerly stationed at Eglin AFB with the 28th Test and Evaluation Squadron, 53rd Wing, Captain Scheuren is an analyst with the Joint Test and Evaluation Program Office in Suffolk, Va.
