MyMC2 @Eglin
My Military Communities, nicknamed MyMC2, is the first mobile application in the Air Force that will put a list of every event at your base in the palm of your hand. The app is a free download available for smart phones and tablets through both the Android Market and Apple’s App Store. Eglin is the second Air Force Materiel Command base to use the application and is one of only nine installations worldwide. The app pulls event listings from organizational Facebook pages that are officially associated with the base and consolidates them into one place. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)

Big Idea, Big Bucks
Anthony Dziokonski holds his $10,000 check from the Air Force Innovative Development through Employment Awareness (IDEA) program. Dziokonski earned the money for his idea to use an incinerator to help the 46th Test Wing get rid of test materials used to detect direction and velocity of bomb explosion fragments. The burner consumes massive amounts of the wood waste quickly and minimizes the amount of pollutants released. (Courtesy photo)
