Mobility Impaired Hunt
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Stephanie Leavins' rifle is mounted on a swivel stand connected to her motorized wheel chair. By her father's design, she activates the trigger on the chair's footplate which sends an electrical charge to a solenoid, manually firing the gun. Every year, Stephanie and the Leavins family join other hunters at the Eglin Air Force Base Mobility Impaired Hunt. Stephanie harvested an eight-point buck this season.
