The ADS-1 provides a non-lethal capability to repel or disperse hostile forces. EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- A test participant, acting as an intruder, attempts to pass through sensors field without setting off an alarm. The Infrared Intrusion Detection System (IIDS) is a long-range point-to-point programmable infrared physical sensor that provides early warning physical security protection of key assets at various remote and fixed installations. Ground Combat Training Squadron gains new capability

Adopt a Plane

The TM-76B MACE displayed here at the Air Force Air Armament Museum is one of a variety of munitions maintained by the 46th Maintenance Squadron in support of the museum's "Adopt a Plane" program. On Oct. 3 squadron personnel completed restoration of the translauncher, the trailer the MACE sits on, and at the end of the month they plan to work on the missile itself.

Staff Sgt. Jeremy Frederick, 46th MXS munitions stock control clerk, restores the stencil work on the TM-76B MACE on display at the AIr Force Air Armament Museum. Twenty members of the AMMO flight volunteered 225 man hours to make the munitions launch trailer look new again.
