Unstoppable Eagles undefeated again

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Eglin Eagles continued their undefeated record of 14-0, winning the gold during the Eighth Annual Defender's Cup Military Open Soccer Tournament hosted by Lackland AFB, Texas, Oct. 10-13. Unstoppable Eagles undefeated again

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Eglin Eagles go undefeated again in the Eith Annual Defender's Cup Military Open Soccer Tournament hosted by Lackland AFB, Texas, Oct. 10-13. The tournament was a four-day event with 20 teams participating from across the Air Force to determine who would be the No. 1 soccer team in the AF. The Eagles contiued the undefeated record for the 2nd year in a row raising their tournament record to 14-0, with 56 total goals scored, while only allowing six against them. (Courtesy photo)

Chiefs soar over Eagles

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- In a basketball game Oct. 14, the latest of four competitions between the Chiefs and Eagles, the Chiefs managed to come out on top after an overtime scurmish that made for an epic victory 40-37. The Chiefs vs Eagles is a competition between base leadership with the Chiefs consisting of all Chief Master Sergeants, and the Eagles all Colonels. The key players for both teams were Chief Master Sgt. Donald Morris, 33rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, with nine points and Col. Steven DePalmer, 53rd Wing Commander, with 17 points.
