Moving in

Tech. Sgt. Steve Welch, 96th Communications Squadron, begins to install the command post's giant voice system at their new location in Building 1. The command post serves as the executive agency for command and control for commanders during routine operations, emergencies, contingencies and increased readiness. A line of asphalt was cleared by the RX-900 in February at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. This was part of the six-month repaving and construction on Runway 19/01. The runway reopened March 15 to air traffic. (Courtesy photo.)
