Pet Welfare 30th Anniversary Open House

Sparky, the fire dog, holds one of the adoptable dogs during the Pet Welfare 30th Anniversary Open House Oct. 27th. Members of the 96th Test Wing Fire Department came out with Sparky to tour the shelter and talk to visitors. The event highlighted the mission of Pet Welfare, a no-kill, all-volunteer shelter. The shelter opened in 1982 with the primary mission of finding homes for the four-legged family members they are forced to leave behind. Visit www.petwelfare.net for more information.
