Pulled Pork for Support
The Northwest Florida Blood Services mobile unit was on hand for Airmen and civilians to donate blood in the name of Tech. Sgt. Eric Olafsen. The sergeant is fighting leukemia at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. Col. Bruce McClintock, 96th Air Base Wing commander drives a 2009 Tesla Roadster into the Main Exchange parking lot with David Erickson, Gulf Power, in the passenger seat. EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The completion of the three-quad Dorm 18 was commemorated June 18, with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a tour of the rooms. Airmen from the 96th Security Forces Squadron and 96th Civil Engineer Group will be the first to occupy the new quad dorms.The The total cost of construction of the three dorm complex topped 13.5 million and the 96th Air Base Wing invested $10,000 in quality of life items like individual air control for each room and individual refrigerators.
