2. What dependent care facilities are available at Eglin?
Located near Eglin are two facilities of The Air Force Enlisted Village (formerly Enlisted Men's Widows & Dependents Home Foundation, Inc.). The facilities are the Bob Hope Village, Teresa Village, and Hawthorn House.

Eglin Inns Lodging facility, a consistent lodging award winner, operates two
24 hour front desk locations - the reception center, located near
the Eglin Bayview Club (formally the Eglin Officers Club) and the White
Sands Inn located on the East side of the base near the bowling center.
The Eglin Inns provide a wide variety of quarters available for use by active
duty, retired military members and DoD civilians. There are 82 VAQ (visiting
Airmen's quarters), 108 VQ (visiting quarters) single rooms, 83 VQ suites,
and 56 one, two, and three-bedroom TLF (temporary lodging facility) units.
