EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The following disciplinary actions occurred here between October and December 2016.

An airman 1st class from the 453rd Electronic Warfare Squadron received a general court-martial for one charge and two specifications of Article 120, sexual assault.  The member was found not guilty at trial by enlisted and officer panel members.

A senior airman from the 16th EWS received a reduction in rank to airman 1st class, 14 days extra duty, and a reprimand for failing to obey a lawful order.

An airman 1st class from the 16th EWS received a suspended reduction to airman, 14 days extra duty for failing to obey a lawful order.

A senior airman from the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

A staff sergeant from the 96th LRS was discharged with a General service characterization for failing a substance abuse treatment.

A senior airman from the 96th LRS received a suspended reduction in rank to airman 1st class, 20 days extra duty, and a reprimand for negligent dereliction of duty.

A staff sergeant from the 96th Operations Support Squadron was discharged with an Under Other Than Honorable service characterization for sexual assault.

A technical sergeant from the 96th Security Forces Squadron received a $1,583 suspended forfeiture of pay for two months, reduction in rank to staff sergeant and a reprimand for assault consummated by battery.

A senior airman from the 96th SFS received a reduction in rank to airman 1st class and a reprimand for insubordinate conduct towards a non-commissioned officer and two counts of dereliction of duty.

A senior airman from the 96th SFS received a suspended reduction to airman 1st class, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for two counts of assault consummated by battery.

An airman 1st class from the 96th Surgical Operations Squadron was discharged with an Honorable service characterization for personality disorder.

A staff sergeant from the 33rd Fighter Wing was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

An airman 1st class from the 33rd Maintenance Group received a suspended reduction in rank to airman for being absent without leave.


A federal civilian employee was removed for being absent without leave and unauthorized possession of government property.

A federal civilian employee was reprimanded for quarreling with a supervisor.

A federal civilian employee was orally admonished for disrespect to a supervisor.

A federal civilian employee was reprimanded for quarreling with a co-worker.
