EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The following disciplinary actions occurred here between January and March 2017.


A master sergeant from the 96th Surgical Operations Squadron received a general court-martial for rape.  He was found guilty and sentenced to reduction in rank to Airman, confinement for 16.5 years, total forfeitures of all pay and allowance and a dishonorable discharge.

A senior airman from the 96th SGCS received a reduction in rank to airman, suspended reduction to airman basic and a reprimand for wrongful use of marijuana and wrongful use of cocaine.

An airman from the 96th SGCS was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

A senior airman from the 96th Aerospace Medicine Squadron received a suspended forfeiture of $1,062 pay per month for two months, reduction in rank to airman 1st class and a reprimand for making a false official statement.

An airman basic from the 96th Inpatient Squadron received a suspended forfeiture of $799 pay per month for two months, 15 days restriction to base, 15 days extra duty for drinking and driving and having an open container of alcohol.

An airman basic from the 96th IPTS was discharged with a General service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions.

An airman 1st class from the 96th Medical Support Squadron received a forfeiture of $448 pay per month for two months, suspended reduction in rank to airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for failure to go.

A senior airman from the 33rd Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman 1st class and a reprimand for wrongful possession and use of marijuana.

A staff sergeant from the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to senior airman and a reprimand was for dereliction of duty.

Two airmen 1st class from the 96th LRS were discharged with a General service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions.

A senior airman from the 33rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

An airman 1st class from the 96th Security Forces Squadron was discharged with an Honorable service characterization for failure in the alcohol abuse treatment program.

A federal civilian employee was removed for being absent without leave and unauthorized possession of government property.

A federal civilian employee was given an oral admonishment for disrespecting a supervisor.

A federal civilian employee was removed for conduct unbecoming and theft of government property.

A federal civilian employee was given a “last chance” agreement and a 10-day suspension for failing a drug test.

A federal civilian employee was given a reprimand for loafing.

A federal civilian employee was suspended 10 days for conduct unbecoming.

A federal civilian employee was given a reprimand for conduct unbecoming.

A federal civilian employee was given a reprimand for taking medical leave and not providing leadership supporting documentation.
