AF Ball tickets now on sale

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Grab them before they’re gone!

Tickets for this year’s annual Air Force Ball are now on sale for the October 15 event at lower prices for a short time and in limited quantities.

The formal event will be held at King Hangar this year with retired Gen. Philip Breedlove, former Supreme Allied Command commander, as the guest speaker.

“Everything is coming together to make this year’s Air Force Ball great,” said Capt. Cherie Buday, event coordinator.  “We are thrilled to have General Breedlove as our speaker.”

The event will also feature the U.S. Air Force Band of the West’s “Sky Country.”

Eglin’s unit representatives have tickets available now and can be paid via cash or checks. 

Tickets for E-1 to E-4 are $25 with limited $10 tickets via unit first sergeants.

Tickets for E-5 to E-6, O-1 to O-3 and GS-1 to GS-11 are currently $30, but will increase after September 16.

Tickets for all other higher ranks, community partners and contractors are $40.

The child development center will offer a childcare plan for the event, but need to be notified before October 1 at 883-7425.
