'Joyful noise' at annual community Black History event
The Eglin Brotherhood Choir makes a joyful noise to celebrate America's African American culture at the 33rd Annual Liturgical Celebration honoring Black History Month Feb. 9 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The theme of this year’s event, hosted by the Catholic African-American Cultural Awareness Group of Okaloosa County, was being a light to the world and called for continued unity among all people, especially in reflection of how far America has come.
