Armed Forces Voters Week

As a part of Armed Forces Voters Week, June 27th - July 5th, the installation’s voting assistance officer reminds Team Eglin to send in their federal post card applications on time for this year’s mid-term elections in November.

Team Eglin’s goal during the week is to promote and increase the awareness of the installation voting assistance program by helping Eglin personnel and their spouses to submit their FPCAs as soon as possible.

The FPCA is the primary method of communication between a person and their state’s election officials.  The information provided on the form is used by local election offices to determine if the applicant meets the respective state’s voter registration requirements.  By following a few simple steps, it secures voter registration and absentee ballots for all future elections.

Voting assistance tables will be set up throughout the base during the week with people who can answer any questions voters may have.

Active duty members and dependents can visit www.FVAP.gov  at any time to complete a registration application and request their absentee ballot.

For more information, please contact Eglin’s installation voting assistance officer at 885-VOTE (8683) or via email at vote15@us.af.mil.
