EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- This year’s theme for Sexual Assault and Prevention Month is “Step Forward. Prevent. Report. Advocate.” It is a call to action for individuals at all levels to use their personal strength to advance positive change in preventing sexual violence.

While awareness activities focus on increasing knowledge, prevention activities focus on building skills and changing behaviors to prevent sexual assault. The month provides the opportunity to engage the community in focused primary prevention.
