Security Forces respond, adapt in active assailant exercise

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - The base’s 96th Security Forces Squadron defenders had to adapt and respond to an active assailant call while also losing their standard ways of communications due to a simultaneous base power outage.  This scenario was part of an Air Force Materiel Command large-scale exercise occurring across Eglin Feb. 26, 2024.  (Imagery by Samuel King Jr.)
