My sincere thanks to all of you who have donated to the 2017 Air Force Assistance Fund campaign.  So far, we have raised $21,558 that will go directly to helping our Airmen via one of the four charitable affiliates:  Air Force Aid Society, Air Force Enlisted Village, Lemay Foundation, and the Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation.

Our goal for the 2017 Campaign is $88,153 and we are striving for a 25 percent Active Duty participation rate.  In order to help you achieve these goals, I have decided to extend the campaign through May 19.  I would like to encourage each of you to consider giving to this very worthy cause, as we strive to uphold the tradition of mutual support for our fellow Airmen.  It is our hope to reverse the trend of recent years and see our participation and contribution levels rise.

Ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute is important in our “Commitment to Caring” tradition.   Therefore, if your unit keyworker has already talked to you about AFAF, but you haven’t gotten back to them, please consider doing so today and consider giving within your means.
