EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --
Team,
January 14 - 15, an evaluation team of four colonels will visit our base to determine the winner of the Commander-In-Chief's Installation Excellence Award. In addition to the specific areas requested by the evaluators, our plan has them visiting significantly more across Eglin to properly highlight all of the unique mission areas we execute daily to support the war-fighter, our families, and our local retiree community members. It was simple to build a plan highlighting just why Team Eglin is the Best-of-the-Best!
If you have been asked to meet with the evaluation team, I thank you for your time and effort preparing for the presentation and know you will excel on that task as you do in executing your daily mission. It was the dedication to performing the mission by each of you - across the entire Team Eglin - that propelled us into the final round of competition for this prestigious honor.
Thank you for all you do for our nation.
