Gabriel Laramie

Gabriel Laramie is the Deputy Director, 96th Mission Support Group, 96th Test
Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He assists the Commander in operating Eglin’s
largest Group, leading 2,200 military, civilian and contractor personnel within the four
diverse mission areas of communications, force support, logistics, and security
forces. He provides support to the largest DoD installation encompassing 724
square miles and serving 23,000 military and civilian personnel, along with a
population of 90,000 dependents and retirees. He oversees and monitors the
Group’s budgeting and facilities processes, prioritizing organization unfunded
requirements, and advocating for resources.


Laramie graduated from Eastern Washington University, Washington in 2003.
He earned his Master's Degree from Air University, Alabama in 2021. Since
beginning his career with the Department of Defense,  Laramie has held
leadership positions with both the Air Force and Army, providing morale, welfare, and
recreation opportunities to service members stationed across the globe. While
serving at McChord AFB, he guided the operation to an A1 “Best Team” award and
personally received the IMCEA Irving B. Rubenstein Award for his professionalism.
As the Community Services Flight Chief at Nellis AFB, he expanded ACC’s largest
services portfolio and was recognized as the 2017 A1 Civilian Supervisor of the Year.
