Visitors to Eglin AFB need a base pass to access the installation. The 96th Security Forces Squadron have a virtual option for sponsors to request a pass for their guests to streamline the process and cut down on wait times. Sponsors need to provide their DOD credentials along with their visitor’s name, social security number, and driver’s license number. Sponsors using the virtual app must submit their request no earlier than five-days in advance to allow for processing.
Here is the site link: Eglin VCC Base Visitor Request System for non-DoD networks and non-CAC users.
Visitor requests for foreign nationals must be processed via email and can take up to 14 days to process. Requests may be taken to the VCC or emailed to 96sfs.s5b.passandreg@us.af.mil and the sponsor should receive an email when the vetting process is complete. Passes will be granted for a maximum of 72 hours.
Passes may be picked up at the Air Force Armament Museum Visitor Control Center between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sponsors can get base passes from Airmen at the gate between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The same information will be needed, and the person vetted before a pass is given.
The VCC has a new capability allowing customers to remotely sign in to the kiosk through a virtual queue to request base passes to help shorten wait times. Once customers enter the queue, they will have 60 minutes to report to the VCC to physically check in on the kiosk. If they exceed the 60- minute report time, they will be removed from the queue but can still check in at the kiosk.
To access the virtual queue, follow these instructions:
1. Click the link: QueueKiosk Online Services
2. Click “the check” in now button.
3. Enter your first and last name and click “check in now.”
4. Print confirmation.
5. The clock starts for the 60 minutes.
6. Sign into the physical kiosk at VCC to confirm arrival.
7. Wait for your name to be called.
Another feature is a “current wait times” button to see where you are in the queue, which can be found here: QueueKiosk Online Services
