EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 96th Test Wing leadership is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Michael.
Team Eglin has declared HURCON 4, which means all personnel should run their personal checklists. An official weather update will be posted soon.
Currently, Michael is expected to become a Category 1, possibly a low Category 2. The current track suggests the storm will move eastward, but rain and gusting winds as high as 60 to 70 knots is expected Oct 10.
Currently, Oct. 9 will be a normal report to work day. Updates will be provided throughout Monday as needed. For the latest update, check the Eglin website.
