New test wing award winners

Congratulations to the recent 96th Test Wing Air Force Materiel Command and Air Force award winners.

Master Sgt. Charles E. Freeman II

Freeman won the First Sergeant of the Year award for AFMC.  He is the 96th Security Forces Squadron first sergeant. He advises the squadron commander on all matters pertaining to judicial, non-judicial and administrative cases. Additionally, Freeman ensures the health, morale, welfare and discipline of 494 defenders.

96th Logistics Readiness Squadron

The 96th LRS team earned five AFMC logistics awards.

William Burke won in civilian cat II annual award.  Lt. Col. Ryan Mansfield won in the field grade officer of the year category.

The squadron also won the Daedalian Logistics Effectiveness, Air Force Small Terminal Unit and the American Petroleum Institute award.

Eglin AFB Aero Club

The Club earned an Air Force Aero Club Safety Certificate.
