The 96th Medical Group put together a number of events to bring attention to Brain Injury Awareness Month.

A traumatic brain injury is a blow or jolt to the head that disrupts the normal function of the brain.

More than 430,000 TBIs were reported by military members since 2000.  Only 16.9 are diagnosed in a deployed environment.
