Eglin exercise: higher level of care

  • Published

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - The base's two-week-long exercise evaluated the base’s ability to survive and operate in wartime and contingency situations and culminated in a large-scale deployed environment event. This exercise proved unique in providing Airmen medics opportunities for multiple levels of medical care to the in-exercise casualties.  The casualties would receive in-the-field combat casualty care, then triage by medical personnel followed by care at the field hospital.  Imagery by Matt Veasley and Samuel King Jr.
