Eglin summer internships accepted now Published March 1, 2010 Civilian Personnel Office EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Civilian Personnel Office is now accepting student summer hire applications through March 12, for clerical, general laborer and engineering positions. The engineering positions available are designed to expose college students pursuing a curriculum in science/mathematics/engineering to the application of engineering theory and design in a research and development engineering environment. The positions will be located in AFRL only. Anyone wishing to apply may pick up applications from the Civilian Personnel Office at 310 W Van Matre Avenue, Bldg 210, Rm 101 on the first floor hallway. The applications will be available in a rack next to Rm 101. Applications are accepted Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 pm. Applications mailed in must be postmarked by March 12. Applicants must be age 16 by June 7. The prospective selectee must also be enrolled in a high school, college or vocational/technical school in a full or part-time status. Applications are also being accepted from high school students for the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate 2010 High School Apprenticeship Program Program.
