Online registration for the 2010 Air Force Marathon will be open to the public Jan. 1 at 12:01 am (EST) at www.usafmarathon.com.

The 26.2 mile race will be held Sept.18, on the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. A half marathon and 10K race will also be held on the 18th. The Air Force Marathon and Wright State University will continue the tradition of hosting a 5K race Sept. 17 on the local campus of Wright State University. The annual Sports and Fitness Expo will be Sept. 16th and 17th at the Ervin J Nutter Center.

"With the increasing popularity of our race we anticipate a sellout for 2010 and I am encouraging people to register early," said Molly Louden, Air Force Race Director.

The Air Force Marathon will offer a New Year's Resolution registration special on all races beginning January 1, 12:01 am and will continue to January 1, 11:59 pm. This one day only registration special will offer the marathon at $65, the half for $55, 10K for $25, and the 5K for only $15.

"If you know you're going to run, why not take advantage of the lowest prices of the year," said Louden.

Register online at www.usafmarathon.com on January 1, for the one day only New Year's Resolution special.
