Eglin officials confirmed today that the base will host an air show in 2010.

"75 Years of Eglin Pride" is the theme for the air show, scheduled for April 10-11.
A wide variety of aerial performers, including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, will headline the show, and the air show committee is lining up static displays and vendors for the weekend.

"Air shows are vitally important; they allow the American public to see how their tax dollars are spent to defend this nation and to encourage public understanding and support for this invaluable mission," said Maj. Gen. C.R. Davis, Air Armament Center commander. "Air shows are a great chance to show our young people the Air Force is a great way of life as we continue to recruit the best and the brightest to carry on our proud military tradition."

Air show updated information will be posted at www.eglin.af.mil
