Chief master sergeants selected

Air Force officials selected 475 of 2,276 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant for a selection rate of 20.87 percent. 

Congratulations to the following senior master sergeants promoted to chief.

Steve Betancourt, 96th Medical Support Squadron
Manuel Camacho, 96th Security Forces
Scott Collins, AF Operations Test and Evaluation Center
Marvin Gilliam, 96th Security Forces
Charles Littleton, 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron
Edwin Olan, 9th AF, Det 33
Vicki Seal, 96th Aerospace Medicine Squadron
Nick Sims, 53rd Maintenance Squadron
Eric West, 96th Civil Engineer Squadron

The average score for those selected was 662.78, with an average time in grade of 3.40 and time in service of 23.23 years, respectively, and 24.49 for decorations. The average score was based on the following point averages: 135.00 for enlisted performance reports, 63.57 for the Air Force supervisory exam and 388.58 board score.

Those selected for chief master sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning January 2010.
