Editor's note: This is the first in a series following ALS Class 10-Alpha from inprocessing all the way to graduation. It will highlight the month-long class and explain what an Airman experiences during this time. The ALS series will highlight open rank inspections, community service events, classroom experiences and reveille.

Master Sgt. Lisa Buckman, Airman Leadership School Commandant, directs new students to uniform inspections during inprocessing of ALS Class 10-Alpha here. Class began Sept. 16 for 48 Team Eglin Airmen as they began the path of becoming non-commissioned officers. Eglin's ALS program was named Air Force ALS Program of the Year for 2008.
