Team Eglin's Wingman Day on display

Team Eglin Airmen rallied for a day packed with activities Nov. 6 as part of Wingman Day. The day was created to help foster a culture of Airmen helping Airmen concept. This year's theme is "Together We" and saw uniformed and civilian Airmen pulling together for team building exercises and activities centered on the Wingman concept. 

"Today is truly a Team Eglin day showcasing the diversity and synergy among all the Team Eglin (assets)," said Maj. Gen. David Eidsaune, Air Armament Center Commander and Air Force Program Executive Officer for Weapons. "We are all Wingmen even though we may not all work directly with one another." 

After the Star Spangled Banner was played, Team Eglin listened as stories of Airmen being good Wingmen and serving as shining examples of the concept every day. 

"While there are Airmen doing truly heroic things while deployed, there are Airmen who do amazing things ever day (simply) by being a good Wingman," said Col. Bruce McClintock, 96th Air Base Wing Commander. "
