Focus on achievements while shopping Published Dec. 20, 2007 By Staff Sgt. Stacia Zachary 96th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Team Eglin recently added a reader board to the entrance of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service Base Exchange to recognize Team Eglin award recipients. "There was no place where Team Eglin winners' pictures were displayed," said Donna Swank, 96th Air Base Wing Installations Awards officer. "It's always important to recognize winners at every opportunity," said Beth Anne Woods, 96th ABW Commander's Action Group. "The BX was the perfect place to recognize the winners because so many traverse through there." The reader board is dedicated to acknowledging quarterly and annual Team Eglin award recipients. The BX was chosen as the best place to give the winners the best exposure and praise to the base public. "The purpose of the reader board is to display the award winners from across Team Eglin," said Ms. Swank. "The base exchange is a place where civilians and military pass through and it has a good partnership with AAFES making it an obvious choice of location."
