EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Military and Family Readiness Center’s Newcomers’ Orientation is one of the first stops for new military and civilian employees.

Orientation starts a path to success
The orientation helps newly-arrived employees and their families connect with Eglin’s leadership and agencies; foster a sense of belonging, access essential resources, understand the base’s mission and the crucial they play in the fulfillment of the mission, according to Gabriela Leysath, an M&FRC community readiness consultant.

Leysath added the orientation offers new employees a first impression of Eglin.

That impression comes in the form of squadron and agencies briefings and an Information Fair by Team Eglin base and community partners.

The Newcomers Orientation is the first Wednesday of each month at the Enlisted Heritage Hall from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.  For more information, call 882-9060.
