EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 96th Civil Engineer Group conducted a simulated combat operation March 25, 2026.
Firefighters responded to a simulated aircraft crash in a contested environment extinguishing the fire using F3 foam and performing victim rescue operations.
Explosive ordnance disposal teams responded to secure the aircraft munitions and confirmed the area was safe from explosive hazards.
Emergency Management personnel coordinated with the Incident Command and supported emergency operations center activities, including hazard zone plotting and operational tracking.
