The Air Force Office of Special Investigations has made it easier than ever for Airmen to report suspicious activities while protecting their identity in the process.

Also known as, "Tip Submit," people can remain anonymous when reporting through AFOSI's Anonymous Tips Line, which is also available as an application for smart phones.

The tip line allows AFOSI agents to receive and investigate anonymous tips ranging from drugs, theft, sexual assault and terrorist activities, according to a special agent with the 9th FIS investigations branch.

"Whether you're a concerned citizen or are one of our own, the responsibility to protect each other rests on each and every one of our shoulders," said the agent. "Sometimes, the smallest bit of information can lead to the greatest number of lives protected."

In tune with the organization's motto, "Eyes of the Eagle," its Eagle Eyes program stresses anti-terrorism techniques for Airmen and their families to implement throughout their day-to-day activities. Categories of suspicious behavior to look out for include but are not limited to: surveillance activities, purchasing of suspicious supplies, elicitation of information and suspicious persons out of place.

"When it comes down to it, if you see something suspicious on base, say something," said the agent. "We've tailored the reporting process to meet the cyber community age in hopes of having more people come forward with credible information."
