Green Dot training
Maj. Stephen Gray, 96th Comptroller Squadron commander, participates in Green Dot interactive training exercises with other base leaders May 9 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The Green Dot program will be used to train Airmen here and across the Air Force to help reduce power-based interpersonal violence. The idea behind GD is that small proactive actions of intervention by bystanders will influence the behavior of others to create a ‘new normal’ within their social groups and communities impacting cultural change, teaching that violence and inaction are unacceptable. GD training began recently and is mandatory for all base personnel. (U.S. Air Force photo/Ilka Cole)
