More than 70 technical sergeants selected for master sergeant promotions

Air Force officials selected 5,301 of 23,619 eligible technical sergeants to master sergeant for a selection rate of 22.44 percent.  The average score for those selected was 565.74, with an average time in grade of 4.02 years and time in service of 14.24, respectively.  Weighted factor averages included the following:  249.97 for enlisted performance reports, 12.02 for decorations, 68.70 for the promotion fitness exam and 66.86 for the specialty rating test.
